Proteina Steak with Butter Sauce

(2 servings)

Ingredients :

  • For Marinade: ⁠
    • 50 gr of Dry Proteina L that has been soaked in water, kneaded and drained with repetitions of 2-3x⁠
    • 2 minced garlic cloves ⁠
    • ¼ tsp salt⁠
    • ¼ tsp pepper⁠
    • A pinch of broth powder ⁠
  • 6 tbsp ⁠cornstarch
  • ¼ tsp salt⁠
  • ¼ tsp broth powder ⁠
  • 2 cloves of garlic ⁠
  • ½ large onion (or 1 small onion) ⁠
  • 2½ tbsp sweet soy sauce⁠
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce⁠
  • ½ tbsp tomato sauce ⁠
  • 60 ml of water⁠
  • Salt

Directions:

  1. Mix chopped garlic, salt, pepper, and stock powder in a bowl. Mix well then add the Proteina. Stir the Proteina with the spices and let it rest for 15 minutes (for marination).
  2. After 15 minutes, take the Proteina and then rub it into the cornstarch. ⁠
  3. Fried the Proteina that has been coated with cornstarch until golden brown and crunchy.
  4. Saute garlic and onion until fragrant.⁠
  5. Add water then add sweet soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, and salt. Stir well and then taste.
  6. Put in the Proteina that has been fried, then stir well. ⁠
  7. Ready to serve.

*If you prefer Proteina without being fried with cornstarch, you can put it in butter sauce too!
